El conocimiento es poder en sí mismo

Francis Bacon afirmaba “knowledge is power itself” (el conocimiento es poder en sí mismo), lo que, en plena vigencia de la sociedad de la información y el conocimiento, pareciera que el pensamiento del gran filósofo

Conocer cómo funciona abre las puertas a controlarla, pero también a la asunción de que es inevitable someterse a ella. Yo por mi parte le agregaría una sugerencia a unos de mis maestros que el conocimiento es poder siempre y cuando esté implementado la ética y destreza sin destruir nuestra humanidad y la naturaleza.
